The Celtic Tour
The Celtic Tour – The Royal Mile
“Out of the pages of Scottish history spring forth two indomitable characters: Cuthbert and John Knox. Both were visionary Christians and both were men of destiny. And they’re back again!
Come and join them as they weave their way in and out of the Royal Mile telling dramatic, supernatural and heart-rending stories of the Celtic Saints, the Reformers, the Covenanters, and others. Come prepared for a challenge!”
Thus reads the flyer for the Celtic Tour that ECM runs every year. It is a great opportunity for people to hear the Gospel in an informative and unusual way, and hundreds have had a challenging time, with many going away at the end, deeply moved and clutching Gospel literature.
The tour will run between June & September, each Tuesday and Thursday at 15:00 hrs starting at the Christian Heritage Centre in St Columbas Free Church, 1 Johnston Terrace, opposite the Hub, off the Royal Mile.
The Celtic tour also runs on a Wednesday night at 7:30pm and starts from outside the Tartan Weaving Mill which is the last shop on the right before the castle esplanade.
The evening tour runs through the months of May, June, September and October
