We have gathered a list of local drop-in services for people who are in crisis. Edinburgh churches are hearing the call to mission, to open their doors and get involved in outreach, which is impacting our city.

Teen Challenge bus Edinburgh

TCUK is a Christian organisation that offers residential programmes for people seeking freedom from addictions and life controlling problems.

Drop into the parked up bus for a cuppa and a chat.

A chance to talk to people who have come out of addiction and have faith. Not just for teenagers.

Outreach Van Locations: 

  • Monday @ The Bridges: 7:30pm-9:30pm
  • Tuesday @ Leith Walk (Casselbank St): 9:00am-11:30am
  • Thursday @ Leith Walk (Casselbank St): 11:30am-3:30pm

Monthly Outreach Meeting with Food

  • 3rd Sunday of the month @ Leith Baptist Church (27-29 Madeira Street, EH6 4AJ): 6:30pm

Rowan Alba CARDS (Community Alcohol Related Damage Service)

CARDS is part of Rowan Alba, an Edinburgh-based charity which works with people who have a problematic relationship with alcohol. These people may have become socially isolated or unwell. They visit people in their homes, help them reconnect with the outside world and get the right help for them.

CARDS operates during normal office hours. It is possible to self-refer to this service.
