Crisis Grants for people on income-related benefits who, due to an emergency or disaster, have no money to pay for immediate essential living costs, or
Community Care Grants to pay for essential items to help a vulnerable person to leave care or supported accommodation, or remain in their own home.

Christians Against Poverty (CAP)
Offering free debt help and money courses. Anyone with an income either benefits or employment who is facing debt is eligible for support. CAP is unable to support people who are self employed.

You will then be referred to a local branch in Edinburgh and an advisor can visit you in your home or somewhere local to you.
